Javed is currently an Associate Attorney at KCT Chambers in Barbados, where he carries a mixed advisory and litigation portfolio for companies, membership bodies and insurers, drafting and negotiating commercial, employment and loan agreements, advising on employment and industrial relations and statutory compliance, and conducting civil matters in the Magistrates' Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal of Barbados.

Approach
Javed's practice is built on a simple standard: think before reacting, and treat the person on the other side as someone with a coherent point of view, not an obstacle. That same discipline shapes how he communicates with clients: directly, without unnecessary alarm or unnecessary comfort, so decisions get made on facts rather than emotion. Practising across corporate, employment and litigation work, and earlier in the public service, has meant advising people at every level of an organisation. That ranges from directors to non-legal staff who need to apply the advice themselves, without further help.
